Holiday Inn Express London - Dartford by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"This is a nice place to stay and the staff are all excellent and make you feel so welcome. The breakfast is also excellent."

The Inn on the Lake Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The hotel may state 3 stars but for me the lake view is 5 stars. The hotel may not be modern and the corridor is narrow, but having been in 3 star hotel chains, made me really appreciate this hotel more. The staff were so friendly and professional. Don't often see people smiling while they work and all too ready to assist. The hotel was very clean. The family room is spacious and the images of the online lake room which I was impressed by, did not do justice to the lake views when I entered the room. Bought an instant smile to all the family. We used the disabled parking which is next to the reception and there are lifts. Very relaxing just sitting outside by the lakes. Breakfast was nice. Afternoon tea was lovely. Unfortunately didn't get the chance to try the spa options. The location of the hotel is ideal in between Bluewater and Rochester. Promised myself to come back."

Spring River Ebbsfleet by Marston's Inns

10/10 Excellent

"This was my second stay and it was as excellent as the first. The Receptionist was extremely helpful and even remembered me from last time. The hotel is in a great location for Brands Hatch which is only 15 minutes away. The Pub and Restaurant next door has really good food and a nice atmosphere. The room and bathroom was immaculately clean and tidy and is a good size. It has a really comfy bed too. The heating was great which was most welcome with the awful cold weather! I can't fault it and I highly recommend it. I will certainly stay again."

The Royal Victoria & Bull Hotel

8/10 Good

"Stayed for two nights. We were worried that there may have been noise from the pub but there was none. The room had good facilities and was clean and tidy. The stairs in the building could be an issue for people with mobility issues. Parking was good especially as the hotel is right in the centre of Dartford Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and was pretty decent."

Glass House Retreat

10/10 Excellent

"I was mildly hopeful that the Glass House would live up to its reviews and be a nice welcoming spot for my week’s retreat - in the event I was blown away by everything and everyone: by the food, the classes, the treatments and the facilities. Nothing was too much trouble, I was looked after like a queen. I tried all the different exercise classes (with varying competence and success) I walked and swam, lounged and read - and slept like I had a clear conscience. My room was lovely and clean, a good size with loads of storage, a rain shower and huge bed - plus easy operating air con and heating. The TV had regular telly and my Apps so I could catch up on my series, plus a selection of new films to buy. A smiling housekeeping team kept the place spick and span including a linen change midweek and new towels as and when. I picked a few treatments (you get a free voucher for every night you stay!) and each was thoroughly enjoyable and carried out professionally by staff who seemed happy to be there. Did I fall a little in love with the place? I certainly did. They can expect another visit soon ❤️"
