"I have rarely used exceptional to review a hotel but the Kames was. We travelled here from New Zealand on holiday and we only had one night but it was exceptional. The restaurant menu is top class, the range on the menu was great and seriously 10/10. I had locally free dived seared scallops from the loch, I had the slow roasted goat shank with lentils - exceptional, and we shared a lemon tart with fresh berries. I loved the Kames and I seriously recommend both the hotel and the restaurant. That is my honest feedback, Thanks, Phil."

"We had a very enjoyable stay in the cottage, which is a warm dry and very comfortable house. It was very clean. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped and we were pleased to find the fridge freezer in the utility room. The WiFi was good enough to stream Netflix etc. Excellent showers in the bathrooms. The grass had been cut and so there was easy access to the lochside. The spacious conservatory was a great place to sit and watch the activity in the loch. The parking was really only suitable for one car or 2 small ones."
