"My family stayed for four nights in July 2025 (parents, two teen boys) and we really liked the bunkbeds and layout and uniqueness of staying on a houseboat. It's in a gated boat community where lots of people live full time on their boats. It's about an 8 minute walk to Canary Wharf, which is convenient, but it is a bit farther away from a lot of tourist spots and closer to the financial district which is a different vibe. The place is quite new and very clean and well appointed and it's...

"Loved our barge near the Tower Bridge! Two bedrooms and a couch worked for us perfectly. The Kitchen and living room area was spacious. It was easy to find restaurants and shops the marina! Would definitely stay again! "

"Taggs Island is such an interesting little enclave close to London and unbeknownst to us before. Set in a small inlet off the Thames, the house is one of a group facing onto the water. Linda, the host, has very much personalised it and provides every comfort. Although an expensive add-on, highly recommend the hot tub, which is deep and relaxing. Only down-side to the situation and rather shattering the peace, is being on the Heathrow flightpath, which we hadn't thought about!"

"This is a fun place to stay in so much as my room had a massive outside area, the bed was great and I could look out over the water to watch the fun of Canary Wharf Its very very basic. I had no shower gel etc in the shower, the toilet is a marine toilet, no water offered (or available) so needed me to visit a local shop. Its near all the bars so quite noisy. I'd stay there again but not for that price. Its too expensive for what it is. "

"Only hotel that I stay at in London. Close to everything. So easy to get to by the Tube. Clean. Comfortable. Amazing staff. All around the best hotel in London. "

"The standout for me, aside from the location, is the incredible plumbing. Silly as it sounds you can fill a deep bath with scalding hot water in about 90 seconds, as an engineer at heart i find it so impressive that a hotel this size can do this 24/7. Staff are brilliant and so attentive. Rooms arent anything special but the amenities are all there and they are clean, and again with everything within a 20 min walk, from theaters to restaurants to the major train stations, its a great choice. After 2 stays, this is now my "go to" for a night a the theatre in London."
