"My son and I enjoyed this hotel a lot. Apex Hotel was the best of the four hotels we stayed in. The room had everything we needed with the exception of a microwave. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided the usual but also included the "full English breakfast". The dinner menu included sticky toffee pudding and it was delicious. I would give the hotel 4 stars."

"Hotel spa was not available due to maintenance, which was disappointing, but complimentary use spa across the street. Staff was lovely, breakfast wonderful and facilities modern, clean and well kept."

"Lovely property with fab facilities and polite staff. Great location with only a 15 min walk to attractions in Bath. Level of cleanliness was less than expected of a 5* hotel. Communal areas were clean but often shabby, needing some new paint but rooms weren’t as clean as we’d have liked. Was clear they had just had a quick clean but skirting boards, back of toilet and bathroom corners were very dusty and hand-wash holder had lots of old hand-wash congealed on to it. Breakfast was nice but it was clear staff were stressed and people/items were forgotten for long periods of time and items like glasses, coffee pots and bowls weren’t always clean."
