It seemed like a very large convention type hotel that was very impersonal. It felt very cold and lacked the Japanese hospitality. The rooms were outdated and overpriced for what you get. The staff were not so friendly as we came to expect based on staff from the other hotels we stayed at in Japan. I think if you are coming to Tokyo, I recommend staying in Shibuya instead of Shinjuku. We chose the hotel based on the reviews. I was hoping to end out Japan trip staying at this highly rated hotel and was so DISAPPOINTED! I would have loved to end our trip at one of the other hotels we stayed at in Tokyo and Kyoto. I would NOT recommend Keio Plaza hotel.
