You get what you pay for

Posted 29-Jul-2015
Cons: Rooms need to be modernised, more thought given to location of fixtures and fittings. Windows capable of staying open to allow air into the room.
Location: 3 minute walk from Train station.
Room was very small and in need of a good touch up and modernisation. The windows had to be propped up using a cabinet drawer to get air into the room and there was a wall mounted lamp right where your head would be when sleeping meaning I had to move the bed down a bit to ensure I didnt hit my head. Staff were friendly and the morning breakfast was adequate. I presonally wouldnt stay here again however for £35 a night for bed and breakfast didnt seem like a very bad deal.

Quite noisy and bad wifi

Posted 11-Jun-2015
The wifi kept dropping every 10 minutes or so and the trains were a nightmare. You could hear them as if the window was open. They would go until late in the night and start early in the morning. The breakfast was quite good for the price of the stay, however the meat is halal. The staff were friendly, and check out was simply handing the keys

Excellent budget choice

Posted 11-May-2015 on Hotels
I stayed here for six weeks whilst contracting. The hotel is a budget option, but I would recommend it to anyone. The owner was always very friendly, available if needed, but entirely unobtrusive. He even made sure that I had the same room for my stay, despite me booking on a weekly basis (and going home at weekends). The breakfast that's included is excellent value and the team at breakfast are lovely - they'll make you whatever you want. The only thing that may bother some (not me though!) is that it's close to the train station and there is some noise, so if you're a light sleeper, it may not be for you.

Enkelt men trevligt boende, i bra läge

Trevlig personal, god frukost, bra läge i staden. Uppskattade inte toalett/dusch i korridoren.
