Good service and breakfast but a noisy room

Check-in was good, as were the directions to the hotel all the way from the A14. The room was spacious enough, with adequate tea and coffee making facilities and, I was pleased to see, a bath. However, the walls seemed rather thin, and my bathroom was plagued with an incessant plumbing squeal. I had earplugs with me and know that I would not have slept well without them.
On the plus side, breakfast was good; varied items and plenty to eat, although as a vegetarian I felt I had to get my food as early as possible in case the serving spoons had inadvertently been contaminated by meat dishes; the eggs etc were all laid out right beside sausages, bacon etc.
