"It was our first time trying out a self catering apartment, and we really enjoyed the two nights there. Clean, spacious, it has almost everything you need, except for a laundry machine and shower gel /shampoo. Hazel (the family dog) was super friendly, and the sunset views were ridiculously gorgeous. Applecross is a tad remote, so come prepared with all the food supplies you need. "

"Enjoyable stay in Skye! We stayed at the Ardcana for two nights and had a lovely time. Thoughtful touches throughout, (including a bottle of wine in the fridge!) and the amenities were lovely. For a luxury cabin stay at this price point we were a bit disspointed with the view and the cleanliness (there was a dead fly on the oven range and cobwebs on some of the upper walls). But overall very enjoyable stay! "

"This place is pretty quirky, with a kitchen plus 2 armchairs and a small table for dining, bathroom and bedroom upstairs with quite a low ceiling. Parking is good. "Cozy cabin with a stunning view. This was the perfect escape and we loved waking up to the beautiful views everyday. It is close to the Quiraing and Storr hikes, as well as kilt rock lookout. The lock on the door was a little hard to work and I think could be fixed/replaced, but otherwise the stay was perfect. Overall, would highly recommend this for a stay and would definitely stay here again. "

"We loved the apartment- it felt like home away from home. The views of the ocean and surrounding mountains were breathtaking. We really loved the location- it was very quiet, we had access to a small grocery store right down the road, and were close to many of the top spots to visit on Skye.
