"We were welcomed by an extremely happy and smiling host called Vicki providing lovely homemade muffins, fresh milk and juices in the fridge. We had an immaculate room and very modern bathroom which we found both were very comfortable. Vicki provided a lovely menu of starter and hot dishes which were beautifully and freshly cooked and brought to our room every morning timed at our request. "We had a fantastic stay at Taigh Duitseach in April 2024. Checking in was very easy, the property was lovely and clean, the breakfast was exceptional and lovingly cooked in front of us by Jim and Paulline who were very kind and welcoming. We were only on Skye for 72 hours so we'll definitely be coming back and would feel lucky to stay here again next time!"

Good service and lovely kind gentleman running the place who was very helpful. Good value. "Location was good. Room was spacious and clean but toiletries were not provided. WiFi was not available on property although it was advertised. WiFi service had to be accessed at nearby hostel. Breakfast was very poor - no coffee, limited options and insufficient quantities, sugar/water juice, molded bread in bread-bin. No full-time receptionist. This property has potential but needs some upgrades and better management. Definitely not a repeat customer."
