My only complaint is - I had to pay to park @ the hotel, that’s ridiculous. If you stay the night in the hotel your parking should be included

Such a great hotel. Safe and child friendly. The staff are always friendly, helpful and ensure the stay is to a high standard.

Had a great stay here, spacious bedroom overlooking the countryside in a quiet location. Enjoyed the food and great atmosphere in the pub.

Very comfortable hotel with great breakfast options. Walkable into central Gosforth.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by Millie, the friendly house cat. David was very welcoming, and the house & grounds were beautiful. The room and bathroom were both spotless, I've never been to a cleaner hotel. Everything you could need was provided, and we had a quiet sleep. If you have dry skin issues (dermatitis, eczema etc.) like myself, you might wish to bring your own toiletries as the ones provided were quite drying.

Easy access into city by car or public transport. I have mobility issues and the ground floor room was excellent, the car park was good plenty of spaces also local restaurants gave you choices to go to,overall the staff were excellent hotel was great would definitely go back again abig thank you to everyone who made our stay enjoyable 😉

Lovely room and bed very comfortable. I hadn't realised there was a pool so can't comment on that but it looked very clean and quiet. Very close to metro centre so ideal if that's what you are there for. Taxi to Quayside cost around £14 one way

Lovely room (room 4), but needs a mirror over the chest of drawers so that you can use a hairdryer, as there is no mirror and plug together in that room. A coat hook on the back of the bathroom door and also a shelf in there would be useful. Always a pleasure to stay at this lovely hotel.

Lived like a Lord of the Manor for 3 days. I grew to love the place and friendly service. A nice relaxing break together with really good food in Library Restaurant. Well worth the extra cost.

Could fault nothing. Excellent from first arrival(just to drop luggage off prior to check in to actual departure). Love hotel, Staff, accomadation, everything. Cant wait o go back.

We used the hotel as a base whilst I underwent some tests and procedures at the Royal Victoria infirmary. The staff could not have been more helpful and all in all the quality of our stay was exceptional. The bedrooms are understated but well-equipped. Our room was spacious and incorporated a substantial ensuite bathroom (possibly made bigger by disability provision). The hotel offers free Wi-Fi this was always up and running. The staff at The Rose and Crown are some of the friendliest I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. We were down for a wedding, and they were incredibly accommodating and welcoming. The room was clean and quiet, and breakfast was cooked fresh. The village is small, and bit out of the way, but offers excellent walking trails.

Lovely stay, food was fantastic. Both evening meal and breakfast was devine. Room was beautiful and immaculate. Great castle with lots of history, we did the castle tour that they do every morning which we thought was a lovely touch.

Fabulous visit, vey plesant, good food. Observatory was very interesting.
