"The property was nice. It was clean for the most part. It did have dirty dishes in the dishwasher when we arrived. There were nice linens and towelsThe only negative was that the host did not respond to messages. We left 2 text and one call with no response. Luckily there wasn’t an emergency. "The property is OK if you plan to stay for a day or two. We stayed for a month and found it too small and too cluttered. It almost felt as if the owner had moved out the day before with lots of ‘stuff’ (food etc) in cupboards! There is only one bathroom/toilet on the ground floor only and the stairs are very tight and quite steep with bannisters that are loose. It is also right on the busy street and therefore very noisy from traffic. It is however in a great location with Stamford shops/pubs...

"1) Checkin details were not provided - I had to contact Hotels.com and wait ±1hr outside in the windy street to get these. Checkin was 4pm but I couldnt get in until 90 mins later. 2) Once inside the building; Entrance hall filthy with full black bags in corner, wall staining, filthy carpets, laundry cages strewn. No-one around at all, felt very unsafe. 3) Once inside the flat, it felt like someone had just left in a rush, but I couldnt be sure until I had gone through the apartment. Spooky....

Rushton Hall Hotel & SPA

10/10 Excellent

"Amazing hotel. Food was great!"

Rutland Hall Hotel & Spa

8/10 Good

"Overall a good stay. I stayed in the cosy double room and all I would say is the bed was really hard. Also the room was right by the door so it was noisy as times. Breakfast was good. We tried booking in for dinner on the first evening however it was full so we ordered a delivery to the hotel as it was late. No food service in the evening which I thought was odd. The hotel did try and book us in for the other nights though."

Barton Hall Hotel & Spa

8/10 Good

"Our shower cubicle showed some dirt in the grouting and at the hinges. The rooms was good other than that. The staff were pleasant and tried to help. Thay lacked some experience of dealing with guests. A more experienced bar/ restaurant manager to train and guide them could help move the dial from good to great."
