Lynette let us in early on the first day and we were allowed to stay a bit later. This is really appreciated when there’s no one staying just before or after. Some of the access and departure times are still as bad as during Covid! The bungalow is in a lovely quiet gated development within easy walking distance of everything in Stamford town, including Waitrose. The 2 parking spaces are a great addition. The bungalow is very well equipped. Hot water was good and the main bedroom didn’t get too hot even though it was very warm when we stayed. The little courtyard is lovely too. From the comfortable beds to the fully stocked kitchen, it’s clear the owners put thought into making sure guests feel right at home. Communication with the owner was excellent from start to finish—friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire process. We really appreciated the attention to detail and the overall cleanliness and comfort of the space. We loved Stamford and would happily return to the house for another stay.
