"Great place to stay. The room was perfect, and breakfast was a pleasure each morning. The only issue I had was that if you don't have a car, you will need a local UK number to use the Speedline taxi service. Uber does not work from there."

"Ashfield Lodge is in a very peaceful location but with easy access to main routes within a short distance. There are views of the garden and nearby fields. The Lodge has been tastefully designed and thoughtfully equipped. It was spotlessly clean throughout and the beds were very comfortable. There is off road parking next to the building. Simmie was very prompt with all communication and provided clear information in a helpful and friendly manner. She was very warm and welcoming, offering any help should it be required but her level of thorough preparation was such that nothing more was needed. A most enjoyable stay."
