The B&B is located a few minutes from Canterbury East train station and is also close to the centre of town. The room was well-furnished with fresh water in a jug (with lemon!), kettle, TV and a hairdryer. All the nice touches added up! The host, Terry, was very warm and a good conversationalist. He gave me a map when I arrived and explained how to get into town to start exploring. There were also good options for breakfast. 10/10 - would stay again!

I chose to stay here for two nights while I was visiting Glyndebourne. Carol and Ceri were so friendly and welcoming. They took such good care of me and made sure that I wanted for nothing. The room I was given was large and extremely comfortable with a private bathroom that overlooked the beautiful garden. Breakfast was always delicious and served in the conservatory. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

It was a fantastic little place and very welcoming on arrival. In fact, my partner thought it to be a suitable place to ask to marry him. There is a lovely garden where you can enjoy a nice cup of tea and then breakfast was incredibly generous. Spent a fantastic couple of nights at A Room with a View for Valentine's weekend and we were both over the moon with our choice! From the moment you walk in it felt welcoming and cosy, yet had all the mod-cons and more. My husband loved the cooked breakfast (and the coffee machine!) and I felt very spoilt, being gluten free, with all sorts of specialist items for me to enjoy. Always friendly welcome efficient staff nothing is a trouble attitude. Hotel is always clean and warm I stay here regularly when I can and it never falters

One of the nicest hotels i've stayed in.Beautiful rooms absolutely spotless and the comfiest bed ever. Brilliant location 2 minutes walk from the pier. Staff were so friendly and helpful we'll definitely be back.

Lovely welcome from reception- vip of the day was an amazing surprise - I’ve stayed in hotels all over the world and this tops the lot- fantastic view of the cricket ground. Bar and restaurant staff were all lovely and the food was delicious. Everywhere was immaculate .
