"The room, though recently painted, had old, scuffed furniture - wardrobe with handle missing, no chest of drawers, mean chairs, no house phone, no safe, no ;lidded waste bin in the bathroom, no water own the hottest weekend of the year ('you can buy some at the bar,' the receptionist informed us) and smelled faintly of cigarette smoke. Dull, featureless. Some friendly staff - Nisha, Pavan, Tommy - though not on reception. Seriously overpriced at £250/night."
