Ideally situated outside of San Francisco, plenty of amenities close by , there are many choices of restaurants in San Rafael , we used ferries and drove in to San Francisco, the parking is very expensive , this is why we chose the Marin lodge,

Not only was the hotel beautiful but you can’t beat its location - it’s right on the square in the centre of downtown Sonoma. The rooms were lovely (although slightly on the smaller side) and we really enjoyed our time here so we’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Sonoma.

Amazing experience! The room was big and clean. Lots of parking space available (for free). There is an amazing restaurant nearby (less than 10min walking). The view for the vineyards is phenomenal. Staff is incredible and super helpful. Breakfast could be better and with more option. However, Will definitely come back.

Really friendly reception staff.
Clean, well decorated and appointed property. Small room but nice. Pretty good small gym.
Only slight issue was soundproofing, kept hearing doors slamming through the night.
About a 10 minute walk into Petaluma centre and safe surrounding area. Loved Petaluma, really nice area that we didn't know much about - loads of nice bars, restaurants, cafes etc.
Overall would definitely stay again.
