Nice hotel. Really enjoyed our stay

A weekend to visit our daughter who is at Birmingham University. The room was a little small but cosy and absolutely fulfilled our needs. We were given a top floor room as requested. We arrived at midday but were able to check in straight away. The car park was busy as there was a conference at the hotel that day but we managed to park ok. We dined in the 1900 Restaurant in the evening - the food was presented well and was delicious. Service was great and the lighting and background music...

I’ve used this place a few times, its location is great and it’s very modern, well decorated and comfy. The rooms are week done out and are equipped with fridges and microwaves and there’s a central kitchen with an oven and toaster and hob to use with a washer and dryer. It’s excellent and your minutes from Morrisons, Wetherspoons and the town centre and there’s free parking. It’s essentially a large house split into about 16 flats.

An excellent hotel! Very friendly and helpful staffs especially the young man who can speak Cantonese, he gave us some tips for traveling in Birmingham which is very useful! Cleanliness room having all things we needed; good location with a walking distance to town center and lovely delicious breakfast! Will definitely come back again when we needed.

Parking at NCP Birmingham High Street car park at discounted rate of £10.50, ensure you ask for exit ticket. Easy to find, clean and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was good. Complimentary Hot beverages throughout the day near reception. Kitchenette was handy and fridge was convenient. Downside was bathroom sink was slow to drain and waste hole was so dirty. Really great hotel for the price. Excellent location for bars and Symphony Hall.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. We really enjoyed the 24 hour free hot drink facilities. Just what we needed on a cold walk through Birmingham. We will definitely be staying here again.

Great stay !

No issues at all, easy, great location

AC Marriott is in a great location surrounded by restaurants and bars. Mailbox parking available and once parked you can walk alongside the canal and stop for a refreshment or walk into the city centre. We went to the Alexander theatre which was a 10min walk from the hotel. The hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. They seemed pleased to help which is refreshing. Stayed 7 nights Aug'23. A very well equipped flat. Plenty of cutlery, utensils and crockery. Appreciated and used the dish washer and washing machine, which has no tumble drier programme. Used the laundry room drier and whole load dried for £2.30. Very nice little gym with four good quality exercise machines and versatile weight machine. Clean room and well maintained property

Really nice lady called Claudia, checked us in and told us if we needed anything to just ask, parking on site was free, you just put your reg in when checking in, the room was lovely with king size bed and a hard and a soft pillow each, breakfast was great with lots of options, we walked to the bullring but you can catch the bus or drive, we also went to the cinema at star city just over the road, lots of places to eat too, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again.

The staff went out of their way to be helpful and found us really good local places to eat. It’s a comfortable hotel in a nice neighbourhood really convenient for Cadbury World and Edgbaston Cricket Ground
