Convenient place to stay & easy to access

Posted 11-Feb-2017
Pros: an excellent oriental restaurant for evening dinner
Cons: The heating/room temperature was too hot for us resulting in having the window open all the time we were in and it was still uncomfortably warm.
Location: Very close to the M4 for travel and easy access to Windsor our main reason for visiting.
The hotel was friendly welcoming with a lovely spa & Gym facility and wifi easily available. We had a lovely large room with adequate facilities. Secure on site parking for a small charge was welcome.

Nice hotel convenient for m4

Posted 07-Feb-2017
Chose this hotel as we needed to be in the Slough/Windsor area. Easy to find off the M4. Used the car (parking charges at hotel) to drive to both towns. Hotel has pool (disappointed the steam room was out of action but appreciate this cannot be helped - a family member used to work at a similar facility and they seem difficult to maintain) Pool temperature very pleasant. Breakfast was good. Would recommend for reasonable stay (price/comfort/food)

Very good overnight stop

Posted 04-Feb-2017
Pros: Well situated, a few seconds drive to M4 and they gave a great rate through Expedia
Cons: More fresh air in rooms
Quite surprised to see the hotel is 26 years old, it has kept well! Rooms spacious and well appointed. One slight irritant, although the windows do open slightly it got very hot and was unable to turn the air con on

Close to be able to visit family

Hotel was very clean and tidy. The only draw back was that the bedroom was way to hot and we could not open a window.

Disappointed

Posted 20-Dec-2016
Pros: The receptionist was nice.
Cons: It was hot in the room and the air did not cool the room. Change the carpets
It might have once been a nice hotel, but it needs repairs and renovations. The carpet in the rooms is dirty, stained and had burn holes. The window opened onto a roof, where someone had been partying and left bottles and cigarettes. I asked to be moved to a different room, but they were fully booked so unable to help me. There was delays at Heathrow so they were full. I am not sure how Expedia has it as a 4 star hotel, it is a 2 star. I have booked rooms through Expedia often and they usually are correct on their ratings, but this time Expedia was wrong.

Lovely hotel in a great location

Posted 07-Dec-2016
Pros: The facilities, spaciousness of room, restaurant ..... in particular the friendliness and professionalism of the staff.
Location: As above...... However one needs to take taxi or have a car to get to station as hotel is located practically on a roundabout!
Arriving at the hotel earlier than expected from the airport to a warm welcome and access to my room was a great start to a three night stay. Easy access by train to London and also Windsor and Kew Gardens, my visit exceeded expectations.
