"This is the most beautiful location I've ever seen. The view out our front door was breathtaking. Two Adirondack chairs in front of the unit made it the perfect spot to read a book or have a glass of wine. The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The only issue is the lack of food options near the property. There are no restaurants or convenient stores to get drinks or snacks within 20 minutes...and be prepared to pay hefty prices for everything! Also no fridge. However, the Lodge makes that clear in its description of the amenities. And the location and view make it worth the inconvenience. We just bought a large water jug and non-perishable snacks in Carmel before the drive up the coast. We would definitely stay there again! "

"The location of this property is fantastic. Right in the center of Moonstone Beach Drive. We booked an ocean view room which had plenty of room and the view was incredible. The hotel itself was just average. A little dated, in need of some work in the bathrooms. There was never staff at the front desk and we were never able to get housekeeping services mid-stay as was promised by the hotel. "
