The location is stunning, and the grounds are quite beautiful nestled on the cliff, but this property seems like it's past its prime. There were construction cones or yellow tape around several areas that seemed like the work in progress had stopped. Room was relatively clean and ours had a fireplace and little back patio facing the ocean, but the furnishings were a bit old and worn. We were hesitant about the breakfast in the restaurant but it was surprisingly good. Would not recommend using the bathrooms in the restaurant as they seemed like outhouses even though they were indoors and had plumbing!

Nice staff. Large room with comfy bed, tv, and coffee maker. We stayed in a dog-friendly room and the carpet looked very worn with lots of spots. The room itself could definitely use some updating. We had a late check-in and our keycard reader didn’t work so we had to get a staff member to come help us figure out how to get in. The restaurant had a good breakfast selection with very attentive staff. The property is right on the cliffs with beautiful ocean views and lovely walking path.

We had a wonderful room with both garden and ocean views at this beautiful property. Our private patio, complete with two chairs, was the perfect spot to spend the evening listening to the waves and stargazing. We could have stayed out there all night! There was a small amount of construction on the grounds — it appeared they were refurbishing a water feature that will be a lovely addition once complete. It was a minor inconvenience that didn't detract from our stay at all. Since we arrived having already eaten dinner, we didn't get a chance to try the restaurant, but the aromas coming from the kitchen were very tempting. We'll definitely make a point of dining there next time! Ragged Point Inn and Resort — a stunning retreat we'd happily return to.

We had a nice stay here, the room was cozy and the property was beautiful. We were a little disappointed with the restaurant and cafe on sight and felt they both lacked depth/flavour etc (and were quite overpriced for the value) and the restaurant unfortunately just wasn’t run very well which took away from the experience. It’s nice that there is a trail on the grounds down the cliff to the water however we weren’t able to do it bc it was very steep and we had our dog (our feet were sliding so we aborted, we are both quite fit and found the trail was not well maintained/a little unsafe). Maybe if we didn’t have pup in the backpack and weren’t as fearful of falling with him we would have done it, the couple behind us went for it and one of them fell down and slid on their bum for a bit.

The dream spot to stay at if you are fortunate enough to travel hwy 1. We had drinks listening to live music then dinner. Breakfast the next day and all were the best.
