"We had a lodge that was half way around the lake. There was a parking space right outside and the lodge had a clear view of the lake The kitchen & shower room seemed to be new. It was very clean and had a separate 2nd WC aswell as the main shower room. There are childrens play facillities on site aswell as a bar and restaurant. I felt the bar & restaurant could do with a facelift, but it might be in the pipeline as there are some renovations being done according to a sign at reception. Pine Lake is well placed for visiting a lot of places in the area and I would definitely come here again."

"Really easy to find, you have masses of parking available to you, and the bed was really comfy. The lake view is a huge bonus too - it was gorgeous to wake up to and not what you normally get view wise for a budget motorway services hotel haha. "We had a huge room with a comfy bed, sofa, refreshments and clean bathroom. Dinner on our first night, following a two hundred mile journey, was very welcome if a little pricey. Nevertheless portions were huge and the food was delicious. We sat in the bar after dinner simply to chill. Breakfast is a help yourself buffet. We had a view of the canal complete with views of ducks, sheep and narrow boats. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Would recommend."
