Wonderful stay
A really lovely stay, wonderful food and really friendly service. Very easy to find and ideally placed for exploring the Seattle area, we will return.

Superb food. Great staff. If you sleep with the window open you have to get used to the road noise. Apart from that, perfect!

A lovely cosy room. It was surprisingly quiet given its location close to the road. The food in the restaurant was excellent (and I am known to be fairly fussy about my food) with food veggie options. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We stayed here as part on cycling the coast to coast from Morecambe and it provided an excellent stopping point

Had to ring mobile number to get in & you need one if your walking into town in the dark as there are no street lights. Room was large but really cold when we arrived. Heated up after an hour or so when the radiator was switched on. Think they were expecting single occupancy because there was only 1 cup with kettle 1 packet of biscuits & 1 set of towels. Shower was good, bed was comfortable, pillows were too big had to use a cushion. Breakfast was good, staff friendly. Overall enjoyable stay.

Really friendly staff and excellent food on site. Location is relatively central to areas of interest including Ingelton Falls Waterfall Walk which is not 15 minutes drive from its location.

Fantastic staff lovely food and nice surroundings with amazing views. Perfect place to stay for the Settle to Carlisle train. Rooms could possibly be a little warmer particularly the bathroom but we did stay at a particularly cold time

Great place to stay
Great pub with rooms, food was amazing and all the people that worked there were lovely and couldn't have been more helpful to our group! Clean modern rooms, great breakfast and great rural location!

Immaculately kept pub wioth good quality food.
Immaculate from top to bottom, the Craven arms was well presented and well organised. Food is equally well thought through and produced using top quality ingredients. Wish we'd stayed during the week though as the menu looked more inventive than the (very tasty) Sunday roast on offer when we stayed. We were welcomed by the staff along with our bikes and panniers as were walkers who were also staying after tackling Sca Fell. Breakfast was definitely a highlight.

Lovely base for walking in the Dales.
We were made to feel at home in this comfortable B&B. Delicious food and excellent real ale from local brewery. Pleasant hosts with plenty of good old Yorkshire hospitality. The room was in the converted barn at the back, so away from the busy road - only slight problem - water in the shower went off mid-shower one morning - perhaps because the room is at the end of the line for hot water, and everyone was using it at the same time? Only happened once in our three day visit. Would definitely recommend this place and hope to come again one day.

Small pleasant Pub Hotel
Nice small pub hotel with friendly staff and excellent food both evening and breakfast. Only complaint we stayed in room 1 this room is cold in the middle of the night the floor boards above creek and can keep you awake and the bathroom floor is freezing cold no matter what time of day. My wife was given an extra throw when she asked. Even taking this into consideration we would stay here again but not in room 1

We loved our stay at the Craven Arms. We stayed for 4 nights, and had 2 evening meals there. The proprietors were warmly welcoming and informal, and we felt very settled and relaxed there. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the food very good.

Convenient Location
Not the best experience in the world stayed two nights, one night the meal was excellent the next night next it was poor to say the least which was annoying as it was my birthday and a friend had met me for dinner. Service was poor, neither myself or my friend were impressed with our main course and my desert was sent back as it was cold. When I complained they said they were extremely busy but does that mean your level of service and food has to drop also, I think not. We had gone into eat early at 7.30 and if you cannot get your act together due to numbers maybe you should rethink your staffing levels. Lady was very offish went i sent my food back but there should be no excuse for food being cold at all. Dissapointed in room if that was a superior one, bed was very uncomfortable and could only make coffee as no tea bags just loose tea which isnt practical to make in a small cup.

Pleasant stay in beautiful surroundings. Hearty and good breakfast. Rooms functional if not stellar. Excellent service - especially from Isabel who went above and beyond in providing us with a lift to and from an event.

Nice venue and exceptional food!
We really enjoyed this lace! The evening meal was exceptional. It's resteraunt was nicely decorated and the food was fabulous! Nice room, and nice people running it!

on a very noisy road
Staff were accommodating and efficient and we had a very good Sunday dinner and breakfast. Unfortunately the room was stuffy and hot with the windows closed, with food smells seeping upstairs, but really very noisy from the bypass traffic with them opened. This meant that were had a very disturbed night. A further disappointment was that we booked this stay to use some nectar points, and then were charged the full balance on checking out. Apparently you can't use nectar points here. This was the fault of expedia for misleading us, nothing to do with the hotel as far as I understand.

The exterior was a little tired but in the rural exposed environment it clearly suffered from poor weather, the room was basic but comfortable enough, as a business user a desk would have helped, no DVD player or catch up TV essential if you do not want to sit in the bar all night or work / read as limited TV programmes

Well placed for the Southern Dales
I booked this hotel at short notice in high season and it was not my first choice, but other alternatives were full. This is always a risk but it turned out OK. The Craven Arms was clean, comfortable and they served a very delicious full English breakfast, much appreciated as fuel for a day's walking. The hotel has recently come under new management and the new team seems to be working really hard to be welcoming.

Very nice hotels and host could not of been more inviting. Very pleasant stay and would do again in a second. Wonderful meals.

Great pub walking distance to Settle
The outside could do with a lick of paint but don't let this put you off! We stayed 2 nights. Room and bathroom very clean and comfortable with modern furniture. All staff were so friendly and the restaurant is excellent - we ate both nights. Fabulous cooked breakfast too. We were able to walk to Settle station - a leisurely 20 mins.
