"Had a 2 day stopover while working in Folkestone - a well located guest house with good parking, friendly staff and a very good breakfast. Couldn't get the wifi to work but for a such a short stay I wasn't too fussed. If ever in the area again then would be very happy to return."

"Very clean room with plenty of tea making facilities and lots of hot water, fluffy towels and a comfortable bed. Helpful full length mirror in bedroom. Some of the communal areas look a bit tired, but staff welcoming and room was great for my needs (staying overnight in area ready for family get together). Great location for Hythe and walk along seafront short drive away."

"This is an interesting old pub/hotel renovated to a high standard. The rooms were well appointed and the breakfast was superb."

"The view from my accommodation and also that of my family members in the two next door was way better than the picture - literally 'tree tops' - looking across the Kent countryside through mature trees. The terrace was perfect for sitting out. The rooms were modern and really lovely, air conditioned, well equipped and with a sliding Japanese style door for privacy when the kids were in bed. The reserve was so peaceful"

"The room was clean and tidy. Friendly staff. Great for sea view but very dated and needed some repair and update. Unfortunately we didn’t sleep as the room either side of us keep slamming doors all night and arguing"
