Beautiful view

Lovely B&B - friendly owner - lovely views - if you're travelling to Scarborough by train - it is a bit of a hike uphill but we enjoyed the walk

Lovely place to stay.....

Posted 05-Jul-2017
Pros: Good price, very clean, welcoming hosts, comfy bed.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Location: Situated on the quieter North bay with great sea views, 15 mins walk from the rail station & shopping area. The beach is about 5 mins walk.
Very comfortable B&B, good sized room & very clean. Nice comfy bed & two chairs ( not the more usual single chair ). Made very welcome by the host (Joanne). Great breakfast !! Located on the North bay so within a 15 mins walk to both Peasholme park, the mini railway & Scarborough outdoor theatre. The busier South bay is around a 10 mins drive.

Nice Location

Posted 04-Jul-2017
Pros: Location, breakfast, staff.
Cons: Amenities and blinds or window glazing.
Pros: good location, good breakfast, lovely staff. Cons: free parking very very limited, room very small, view straight into rooms opposite with no privacy unless curtains constantly drawn, early checkout, ironing has to be done in reception area. Feels as though quantity of rooms rather than quality.

Fabulous guest house and owners

Posted 03-Jul-2017
From the first greeting to us leaving all I can say is amazing. Joanne the owner is brilliant she welcomed us and we went to our newly decorated room. It had the added bonus of a brilliant sea view. The shared bathroom is newly decorated and so clean. Breakfast was so plentiful and you could have the full English or anything else. When Joanne knew I was dieting she made sure I got brown toast. Richard her husband did the cooking and the food so tasty and well prepared. We have found a little gem thank you

cosy guest house

Posted 27-Jun-2017
Pros: location was great between north and south bay, lovely owner very friendly, fab breakfast and very clean guest house.
Cons: wifi
Location: harbour close by down steep steps at back by church, peasham park not far, cafes on prom north bay - more going on south bay, ideal location.
had a lovely 2 nights stay here with my partner were out most of the time walking through the day and dropping in to a couple pubs at night, lovely english breakfast from the lovely owner who has such a cute son weather a bit cloudy but still warm and lovely view from the front of the guest house over the sea.

Cute room with an amazing view

Posted 30-May-2017
Pros: The views mostly, the room was very cosy. The staff were very friendly, all family run. Really cute place to stay.
Cons: A later check out would have been nice. Possibly more tea in the rooms and a note to whether the water was drinkable from tap.
Location: Location is very good, we went down to the sea front to the right of the B and B and enjoyed the arcade, rides, chips and the town.
Myself and friend stayed for a night on a mini break and really enjoyed it. The room was lovely and airy and felt big even though it was one of the smaller rooms. The view looked out to the sea and was truly beautiful. In the morning the breakfast provided a few really good options.
