Norbreck Castle Hotel Blackpool

"Considering the reputation that surrounds Norbreck Castle, I have to say I was genuinely impressed. I found the hotel to be fantastic and would definitely consider staying again. Our room was basic, but for what we paid, I honestly didn’t expect anything more. It was clean, we had fresh towels and all the usual tea, coffee and condiments provided, so we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was brilliant, with the tram stop literally right outside the hotel, making it really easy to get into Blackpool. Parking was also only £3 for 24 hours, which I thought was excellent value. We only stayed for one night and I certainly wasn’t expecting much in terms of entertainment, but the cabaret was absolutely fantastic! The four young adults who I believe were part of the entertainment team were amazing. Having been an entertainer myself in the past, I was genuinely blown away by their energy, talent and professionalism. They really made the evening and were a credit to the hotel. The bar prices were also much cheaper than in Blackpool itself, which was another pleasant surprise. Overall, I had a really enjoyable stay. Sometimes you have to experience somewhere for yourself rather than judge it by its reputation, and for us, Norbreck Castle was a really positive experience. I would definitely visit again!"

"Superb check in experience. Beautiful room. Would highly recommend. Bar/restaurant area was too noisy unfortunately, staff not so welcoming and lack of tables due to an external event reserving a large section, so we avoided and ate out."

"A better than expected experience. The hotel is a little tired but has everything you need. I used the pool and sauna both days. The room was fine, just a single basic room with tea and coffee facilities. The breakfast buffet was good with plenty of hot and cold options in a nice room. Excellent location, on site parking. I would stay again for sure!"

"Good location to restaurants. Stayed 1 night in a luxury single. Room was small but had a comfy bed, decent shower & although at the front, quite quiet. Staff were friendly with quick, informative check-in to a cheery breakfast greeting. Great value for money."

"Have stayed a dozen times before always been really good. Was good this time, However in my opinion it is completely unacceptable to charge for pool towels (£2 per towel). This has never happened before. The receptionist was very embarrassed about it and apologised, they said that they wouldn’t pay and suggested using the bathroom towels and using the washer/dryer in the apartment instead of paying. Didn’t pay!"
