A couple of minutes walk from the rail link to Zermatt .Chargeable parking under hotel. Nice draught beer. Nice bedrooms.

We really enjoined our stay at this property. The personnel is very nice, rooms very clean and conformable and breakfast is great. Just 7 minutes walk to Matterhorn-Express, the hotel is very central but quiet at the same time.

We stayed 3 nights to celebrate a special birthday. The staff, hotel and restaurant were first class and went out of their way to make our experience special. We took a taxi to Zermaat from a nearby town and the hotel sent a horse and carriage to collect us. The location of the hotel was fantastic for the wonderful town and for views of the Matterhorn from our room. Well-located, walkable, and near the Zermatt train station. They provide free pick-up and drop-off services, which is wonderful. The room is well-maintained and spotless. Their breakfast options are excellent. Their staff is incredibly helpful and courteous. I got there somewhat early. They gladly finished the check-in procedure. They are always willing to help with navigation, village maps, etc. Around Zermatt, there are several trails to follow.

Used the hotel as a base for a Dufourspitze summit and it was ideal - opposite the Zermatt rail, there's a supermarket next door and parking.

The perfect choice of hotel for skiing in Zermatt! Right in the heart of the main town close to all amenities, ski lifts (walking distance/free bus) & the old town wooden barns which are so picturesque. The entire town is actually! Despite it's location rooms were totally quiet & we had a great view of the Matterhorn too! Perfect Matterhorn view. Very comfortable bed, good sized room and bathroom. Very nice balcony seating area. Well thought out blankets on balcony chairs. Would highly recommend, especially for the view!
