"Room was huge so was the bathroom plenty of room for the whole family and fury friends if you have them! Beds were comfortable and clean everything provided for a lovely stay. Sunday roast and other foods were beautiful and yummy. Would stay again for sure, reception staff were amazing and offered up gluten free options and places we could eat when they had stopped serving when we arrived, lovely little town. Everything you’d need. Local shop, coffee shop, pub’s, restaurants and a tiny petrol station all within the same high street that’s less than a mile long. Great value for money 🌟"

"A nice century located hotel for anything to do in the city of Chester convenient for the river and the town centre I was using it while attending Trackdays operated by Opentrack at Oulton Park. Good safe car park however there is limited underground parking but all in all a nice hotel can’t really fault it Sam for present and if you get one with a view over the racecourse you have sending views as well"

"A really nice property and an awesome castle. positives: clean and spacious rooms, great staff, great onsite restaurant and pub, very convenient for walking into town, ample parking, great historic ambiance. negative: some remote sections of the castle interior could use a bit of touch-up.
