"I had a lovely stay at the B&B. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and filling and the location could not be better. Right next to the Redwood forest and walking distance or a short Uber away from the city center. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and chats with Vivien and I would pick this B&B again if I come back to Rotorua."
"Staff were amazing. Very helpful and went above and beyond. Property could use a little TLC - definitely a bit of faded elegance. Room 2 is the one to have! Breakfast daily was delicious. "
"Service was excellent, food was great, Common lounge areas were comfortable, our room had fantastic lake views but the resort itself generally needs updating."
"Wonderful stay in peaceful surroundings with a great view down into Rotorua. Close enough with a car to all the local attractions but far enough away from the busy town centre.
Lovely breakfast, very comfortable room and even managed to find time for the hot tub! Would highly recommend! "
"Prince’s Gate was an older property. The room was clean and comfortable, but you could hear people walking on the porch outside. The door to our room was weird as the door knob was at knee level. Parking was ample and free. We had drinks at the bar and service was very good. The area around the fireplace in the great room was warm and comfy. We ate breakfast both mornings at Citron Cafe about two blocks from the hotel and it had exceptional food and service. Loads of shopping and restaurants...
"Hotel location is fantastic for a quite weekend away, right on the edge of the neighbouring lake.
Friendly staff, nice rooms and amenities meant for a very pleasant stay. Would recommend!"
