A great weekend away for my husbands birthday. The hotel is easy to find. Staff, through all levels, were very professional, courteous and made you feel very welcome. Our room was spotless but next time we stay we will probably pay extra so we can try one of the suites. Food was to a very high standard. I can't fault the hotel, the staff, the bar, the food or the price. Staff were young but knowledgable. Food was simple but delicious. The bar had inventive twists on drinks (Negronis with port replacing Martini Rosso? A hot chocolate with Remy Martin?) If you're looking for a hotel that is bang in the centre of Edinburgh, look elsewhere. This is in the beautiful area of Stockbridge, 20min walk or 5 min bus ride from Princes St. We'll stay here again. Loved it.
