The hotel was an amazing place to stay in. Lots of history behind both the medieval and 19th century castles, which having an interest in meant it was the main draw for me. The amount of structure in tact from the original was great, you really get a feel for the context of the castle, and the later build is impressive in its own right. Lovely stay in the isolated guest house, on the edge of snowdonia national park in travel distance of betws y coed, far enough to experience true rural Wales. Run perfectly by the two owners whom made us very welcome. Looking forward to return!

Had a lovely stay, nice and quiet, good location and a car park next door. We will definitely stay again the rooms are huge and a great shower.

This was my second visit to Liverpool and the first time using a hotel, I was drawn in by the outside look of the hotel then when I saw the rooms and then how good the price was I was sold. When I got there it was clear the area was quite close to anything I'd need and less than 10 minutes from central station which was perfect. Excellent standard of hotel. Really liked the room, dinner, breakfast, atmosphere. The only minor negatives were the amount of listed TV channels which didn't work, no radio stations and our AC didn't seem to function although we didn't mention it to staff. Thoroughly recommend.

Straightforward check in, Very nice room with functional layout. I liked the room because it was very quiet and the bed was comfortable. The TV is slightly ‘too’ smart and seems to feel the need to switch itself on in the middle of the night. This could do with sorting out.

Easy to park at nearby John Lewis Q park. Handy for shopping at Liverpool one and 30 min walk to Hill Dickinson stadium! We had a room with a double bed and single bed which was ideal for our family of 3 watching Everton match.

I had just finished running a marathon. The staff upgraded us due to this! We had the most beautiful room!! We arrived to a lovely note congratulating me and some personalised chocolates! Great service from hotel staffs..

Staff really friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Beds and pillows clean and comfortable. Pool and changing areas great. Bar area was lovely. Didn’t eat there so can’t comment on the food. Would definitely go again.
