The only small thing about the visit was to pay extra for breakfast, this should be included. However, what a fabulous experience and a beautiful hotel with significant character!
Great location, walking distance to lots of sights. Friendly staff and clean room.
Clean modern rooms, excellent breakfast included with our stay, the staff was the friendliest we had during the 4 cities we visited.
We were able to check in hours early, and they upgraded our room when they found out we were on our honeymoon and sent up a bottle of prosecco. The AC in the room was broken so we switched rooms the next day, which was slightly annoying, but it did have a nicer bathroom. And were given a drink voucher ...
Loved the 5th floor bar/restaurant/breakfast and rooftop space. Great place to relax and unwind after a day of touring. Excellent facility, friendly staff, beautiful room. Don’t have kids but loved the protected play area. A great find!
Reception staff were very helpful and the hotel is very well located for sightseeing
Good location. Friendly people. Very basic. Good deal for the price.
We reserved a double room which was very small but expected for Rome. However, the room was on the first floor in the back which felt like a basement with virtually no light. Also we could smell the chlorine from the ground floor spa and the kitchen as well. Finally we heard banging every night which ...
I booked the basic room, which was enough for me and my partner. Not big but was ok. Some of the grouting in the shower could have been done again, as it was missing in some places. The staff couldn't do enough for you, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet has a good selection of different ...
Anyone making their way to Italy should be sure to book a hotel room in the city of Rome, which promises to be a truly special experience. The Italian capital is home to relics of the ancient Roman Empire, as well as the headquarters of the Roman Catholic Church.
Those who haven’t visited Rome before, and even those who have, will be amazed be the sheer number of historical attractions that dot the city, including such famous sites as the Colosseum, the Pantheon, the Arch of Constantine, the Roman Forum, the Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica.
For travellers less interested in the historical aspects of the city, the ambiance of this picturesque setting is still one that makes strolling its streets, and eating and dining in its cafés, bars, and restaurants, something that is not to be missed. The city is also full of scenic open air spaces, including the Villa Borghese, the Piazza Novana, and the Gardens of Palazzo Barberini.
Another one of Rome’s most impressive outdoor areas is the Piazza della Repubblica, a circular piazza that centres around the beautiful Fountain of the Naiads, commissioned by Pope Pius IX in 1870. Originally the fountain displayed four grand chalk lions, but these were replaceed in 1901 with sculptures of the four Naiads (Nymph of the Lakes, Nymph of the Rivers, Nymph of the Ocean and Nymph of the Underground Waters), which symbolise the dominion of humanity over nature.
