"We had a brilliant stay at Vertus for a weekend when we were attending a festival at the O2. It does everything it promises! The rooms are really well equipped with everything you would need to be self sufficient for a weekend and very high quality. We only dropped on point for the fact that although they are double rooms they seem a little more suited to a solo stay - one bar seat for eating meals and the double bed is a little tight if you are used to a king. we really liked that the windows...

"Sloane Place.... is in the right place! The location was perfect... two minute walk from the Tube (Circle and District lines) and a bus stop... only a mile's walk to Harrod's, Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace- Parliament Square/St. James Park just beyond that. The room itself was not huge but was certainly adequate with TWO comfortable chairs to sit in. The staff was very helpful, and the cleaning service was excellent. "

"Overall a disappointing stay. We booked this hotel on the basis it was very well reviewed and it didn’t live up to our expectations. Communication was good in advance of our stay. Having informed them of our arrival in advance our room wasn’t available to check in to. We were offered a welcome drink during the wait but only after asking how long our room would take to be ready. The room itself was good but let down by the drain smell in our room which required us to keep the bathroom door...
