My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel du Vin & Bistro Poole. All the staff were lovely, particularly the reception team they were exceptional!. Our room was beautiful. The harbour/ Key was less than a minutes walk from the hotel which was on a lovely quiet street. We will definitely be returning!

Great position, overlooking Poole Bay. Restaurant was of a high standard, and very polite and efficient staff. Quiet, relaxing stay, well run, nothing was too much trouble, found reception, hotel and restaurant staff very friendly.

Friendly hotel and restaurant in a beautiful location by the river Stour and. nature reserves - ducks, swans, herons ... Served by hourly bus direct from Poole, or use the very frequent services to Kinson and walk 11-15 minutes across the nature reserve

Service was amazing from the moment we stepped inside. We had a drink in the bar before we went out, and we both said we wished we were staying at the hotel for dinner as the service was brilliant. The personal touch made a huge difference. The room was to the highest standard and certainly did not disappoint. Great stay at a great pub with good well priced food, room clean and well maintained. Only problems, finding somewhere to eat Monday night and as a business traveller would have like breakfast to be served a little earlier. Although the breakfast tray was good.

We had a wonderful stay, a welcoming arrival and any queries we had were dealt with both before our stay and during our stay. There is limited parking at the hotel and involves a bit of tetris parking, however I cannot see how this could be resolved given the location and size of the hotel. The Chocolate Box was one of a few hotels that included some on site parking, there is a paid car park near by as well , you just need to be prepared in advance of the possibility of not getting parked on...

The staff were very friendly, welcoming and contactable at all times, the accommodation was clean and very comfortable, everything we needed was in the room. There was plenty to choose from for breakfast whether hot or cold and all hot food was cooked to order. I would highly recommend this guest house and would definitely stay again.

We requested a change of room because there was no shower in the one offered. they were immediately pleased to do so. Staff were all very pleasant all the time we were there.

Easy access to beach and pier. Plenty of on-site parking and staff were very helpful and efficient. Will stay again.

Had a wonderful stay (4 nights in the Stables). The Inn is set in beautiful countryside, and I loved the quaintness of the building, lots of different areas to sit in to eat or have a drink, and a nice covered seating area outside. Lovely spacious comfortable room, very clean and beautifully quiet. Tea and coffee supplies locally sourced where possible as were a lot of items on the menu. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast at the hotel and really enjoyed everything. Bar well stocked with an excellent range. Attentive lovely staff, who know how to be in stealth mode and not interrupt while you’re in full swing of conversation.
