Es war ein so schöner Urlaub. Wir wurden sehr freundlich von den Vermietern empfangen. Auch vorher hatte die Kommunikation mit ihnen sehr gut gegklappt. Es stand so einiges für uns bereit: eine leckere Moussaka, ein Kuchen, Obst und Gemüse aus dem eigenen Garten. Das Haus hat alles, was man braucht. Es war sehr sauber. Die Küche war auch mit allem ausgestattet. Die Betten haben harte Matratzen, schienen recht neu zu sein. Das Wohnzimmer war auch komfortabel eingerichtet. Das beste sind allerdings die zwei Terassen: die Aussicht ist einfach fantastisch. Besonders, wenn man im Whirlpool sitzt und in die Berge schaut. Das absolute Highlight am Abend. Dafür muss man allerdings logischerweise jeden Tag den Berg runter und wieder rauf fahren. Autofahren sollte einem nichts ausmachen. Uns hat es nicht gestört; ein zu ängstlicher Fahrer sollte man besser nicht sein. Falls gewünscht, kommt sogar eine Reinigungskraft ein paar Mal vorbei und tauscht Handtücher und Bettwäsche. Alle Fenster haben Fliegengitter; auf dem Berg war die Luft immer sehr angenehm und auch nachts. Der Vermieter hat uns zwischendurch noch einmal mit einem leckeren Auflauf verwöhnt, hätten wir mehr gekocht: das Gemüse im Garten stand zu unserer Verfügung. Auch zwischendurch hat die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern immer super geklappt: Laptop kaputt, aber wir wurden in Chania zur richtigen Adresse geschickt. Im Dorf gibt es ein paar Tavernen, in denen man gut und preiswert essen kann. Wir waren hauptsächlich bei Seli, nette Inhaberin. Durch das Dorf geht die Straße zur Samaria Schlucht; dies stört jedoch kein bisschen. Auf halbem Weg gibt es in Alikianos einen Supermarkt, der eigentlich alles führt. Die grösseren Supermärkte sind dann in Chania. Unser Fazit: das beste Ferienhaus seit langem. Wir wären gern noch länger geblieben. ##### Thilo P.
