The hotel was wonderful, the grounds and inside beautiful all facilities were superb. Breakfast was lovely with loads of choice and all waiters really took care and looked after us. Rooms were lovely and room service excellent. All the staff made us feel welcome and were amazing at giving us advice and help especially as we had several problems with lost luggage and a car problem did everything they possibly could to help us. The Hotel Margherita was recommended to us by a friend who visited last year and I am delighted to say that we found that his glowing report was not an exaggeration.
On arrival the friendly staff came out, took the luggage up to the room and parked the car in the garage. We had booked a room with a sea view and on reaching our room we were greeted with a delightful panoramic view of the coast and the surrounding headland. Our air conditioned room was tastefully decorated, and with the full...

We stayed 2 nights visiting Pompei and the Amalfi coast. The Sant Angelo hotel and spa is perfecty placed to visit both, with the hotel situated 30 minutes by car from each. The room we had was a good size for a family of 4 with amazing direct views of Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples. It was quiet and restful, with swimming pool and good aircon to help escape the heat. Staff were very helpful and went out of their way to make our stay memorable and made a very good recommendation for a place to...

Hotel was lovely - well located, my triple room was comfortable and spacious, and amenities were provided (without needing to ask for them). The team was excellent and the highlight of the stay, getting in touch early to offer suggestions, transportation options, making sure we were comfortable, and even reaching out about earphones that my friend had left behind. Special thanks to Imma and Salvatore!

We stayed at the hotel for one night to facilitate a short visit to Positano as part of a longer stay near Paestum further South. We received a lovely welcome from the reception staff which felt friendly and personal Our car was swiftly whisked away for parking at a nearby site and we were shown to two beautiful rooms with gorgeous terraces overlooking the bay. We ate at the restaurant, sitting outside for the glorious view. The food and service were good and reasonably priced for the...

Wonderful, friendly and happy hotel! Very welcoming people, amazing views from the pool and the rooms. The VW beetle which we borrowed was amazing. It is easy to explore Positano from the hotel and the staff explained very well where we should go.

We had a basic room which WAS basic but very clean (basic meaning dated) we stayed 4 days and the room cleaning service was excellent, breakfast was continental, WiFi was a bit hit and miss but okish, no SKY in the basic rooms,, ideally situated for Pompeii as its literally across the road, didn't know until we got there that entry is free every 1st Sunday of the month. I'm glad we didn't pay for a transfer from the airport to the hotel because there's a bus outside the airport (outside...

The simple white interiors reflect the ancient history of this old monastery, now a top quality hotel perched on the side of the cliffs, overlooking Amalfi and the sea. Spectacular views and wonderful service! Regrets that the 'infinity pool' is only open from May to September, note that this is not mentioned on their website.

The choice is yours in this beautiful location in Italy. You may visit the area by train, bus or sea from Sorrento. There are Roman ruins, beautiful coastal villages,Capri for the day.Or just strolling the lanes admiring the views and stopping for coffee. Will return to continue exploring this beautiful part of the coast as soon as possible.

Hotel was excellent, we were able to walk to bus, train and ferry as well into the heart of Sorrento. Despite being right in the centre, the hotel was very quiet and peaceful. Hotel was very clean, rooms very nice

If you are planning a visit to the Amalfi coast and are going to hire a car then this hotel has an ideal position to explore. Views over the med and mount Vesuveus 10 minutes drive to Sorento. Fantastic accomodation. We had the 1 bedroom suite with Seaview which was very large rooms. The hotel arranged a day cruise to the blue grotto and Capri island. There are complementary shuttles to town and information to explore the area. It is only 25 minutes drive to Pompei and 45 minutes a to Naples...

Such a lovely hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The views of Sorrento are stunning. The Hotel Restaurant food was superb the best food we have ever had in a hotel Restaurant.
We used the hotel shuttle bus which was so reliable and quick into Sorrento town. You can walk into town which only took about 15 minutes.
It's a hotel you could not fault as the pool was so clean and gave you such lovely views. I would highly recommend the hotel. When we left the hotel for our flight they...

Me and my wife are from India and we stayed in this hotel for 3 days/nights in October 2017 after spending a few days in Nice and whereabouts. This hotel was so much better in all respects than our hotel there and we were so pleasantly surprised as we selected it online.
The location was excellent - facing the sea and extremely convenient - 2 minutes walk from the train station and 5 minutes walk to the city center where several restaurants and shops are located.

Sumptuous hotel, excellent reception and staff services, I felt very welcomed and cared for especially when alone. The dining rrom staff were especially attentive and pleasant.
The appartment was perfectly clean with good facilitiies but disappointed not to have a window in either bedroom or living area otherwise perfect and lighting and plug sockets useful.
Wifi reception variable, was not available for many hours during my stay from 18th-24th even between 1 and 4 in the mornings.

This Hotel is situated on the Piazza Della Vitoria with great sea views across to mount vesuvius be sure to get ask
for a suite as they are corner rooms and look out across the bay of Naples.
We dined one evening at the Hotel, and to my surprise we found the cost to be cheaper than outside , the buffet
Breakfast was of course very typical of a 4 star Hotel, plentiful.
Sorrento was very busy for the end of season,i can't imagine what it must be like in August,do go to AnaCapri The Chair...
