The kind of old-fashioned hotel I love - quite posh in many ways. Room was lovely - tub, fluffy towels, flat-screen TV, comfy linens (the usual two beds pushed together to make a Queen size, but that's to be expected). Pool area is lovely, with a tiny bar, nice sunny breakfast room. I think the only drawbacks are the busy street out front and lack of views from many of the rooms. No views to the Bay - about 20 minutes away there are hotels with spectacular views across the Bay of Naples, to Vesuvius to Capri, although you sacrifice immediate access to shops, the main port etc. There was a small bar/resto that never seemed to be open but since it was right by traffic it probably doesn't matter. Seemed to be a cross between a business hotel and a tourist hotel. Very nice but if you're coming for vacation you'll probably prefer something on the water -
