The villas are fully staffed including a chef and breakfasts are INCLUDED FREE. Four double en-suite bedrooms (all about the same size), the villa has its very own private rooftop infinity pool and sundeck. The special filtration equipment provides crystal-clear water and the pools powerful Jacuzzi-style water jets are positioned to viewing of the sunset while savouring that exotic cocktail. Towels, beach towels, and luxury towelling robes are supplied and laundered during your stay. Upstairs the large open-plan living areas look out onto the terrace and pool. In addition to a spacious lounge, there is a large formal dining area with a bamboo dining table for ten; four bar stools surround the breakfast bar. The fully fitted European kitchen comes with black granite worktops. The master bedroom has a magnificent Emperor-size, bamboo, four-poster bed. The master bedroom en-suite comes equipped with twin basins set in black granite, a walk-in shower and a 2 person Jacuzzi bath ideal for relaxing in after a hard day of sunbathing or exploring. The villas come complete with modern, fully-fitted, luxury kitchens, equipped with espresso coffee machines, marble-topped work surfaces, and a kitchen bar. At the villas, excellent personal cooking services are available. Delicious breakfasts INCLUDED FREE before 11:00am. A typical breakfast would consist of fresh fruits, juices or smoothies, freshly baked breads and pastries with eggs and bacon. Other meals can be arranged to your convenience by simply STUDYING OUR INHOUSE MENU, and informing the housekeeper, who will be delighted to guide you through the menu selection. You will only pay for the cost of the ingredients from the local markets, which are extremely reasonable. We can also provide Western comfort food for the children if you desire. The housekeeper will pre-arrange the shopping trips so as to stock the villa with all your favourite food and drinks prior to your arrival. Reviews by our Guests :- The Villa has everything you could wish for plus more. We stayed at Villa Malee (3 adults mid 40's) for six nights in November 2025\. The Villa has everything you could wish for plus more. The pool is great, very clean with a jacuzzi corner. The beds are incredibly comfortable and huge, and each room has a lovely shower room attached. The master even has a jacuzzi bath. Every room has a fan, air conditioning and patio doors, and the rooms are very generous in size. There are books in every room to suit all tastes and despite being busy I still managed to read two. The staff are very discreet when they undertake their morning clean and evening turn-down of your room, it is a 5\* experience. The roof terrace is a wonderful place to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. The whole Villa is spotlessly clean and the staff are angels. Kun Noi has excellent contacts who helped us arrange our trips and she is very knowledgeable about the area. Her communication before our stay was exceptional. The rest of the staff are incredible and make you feel truly cared for. They catered beautifully for our varied breakfast requests and also for the two dinners we had at the Villa. Our group included a vegetarian, someone with a mushroom allergy, someone with a nut allergy and a variety of likes and dislikes and everything was handled with ease. The Villa has a folder with local recommendations. We visited the Soi Dog Foundation in the north of Phuket, which took about ninety minutes each way through flooded roads. We also visited the Hidden Elephant Sanctuary which took about thirty-five minutes each way. I would highly recommend it. It is run by a lady from Manchester with local staff and it is entirely ethical with no bathing or touching of the eight rescued elephants. Kun Noi helped us arrange these visits through her contact Otto who gave us a very good price with private transfers. We also spent a day scuba diving with Scuba Nicks which was a very personal service. One of our group is a non-diver and felt so comfortable during her try dive that she surfaced with the most air left of all of us. Villa Malee is about a fifteen-minute walk from local shops and places to eat and about thirty minutes from the nearest beach. You can also ask Kun Noi to arrange a tuk tuk. If you walk, please be aware of the busy road if you have young children or older relatives with you, and the initial hill you need to walk up and down (it is fine for generally fit adults). On two evenings we had massages at the Villa. The therapists came to us, the prices were very reasonable, and they were among the best massages we had in Thailand. I would strongly recommend this, especially on your first or last night. Although we had other massages during our trip none had the same personal touch. On one evening we had the most entertaining dinner with Brian (the owner) and his wife Prada, who regaled us with storied of Thailand past and present. It was our pleasure to meet the owner and once again the personal touch, without intrusion, was really welcome. I would happily recommend Villa Malee, though a part of me would like to keep it as my own secret. I look forward to returning as soon as we can. We just returned from a week at Villa Malee, and there just isn't enough praise we can give! From the minute you book, to safely arriving back home, the owner Brian is in contact making sure everything is seamless! Immediately walking off of the plane we were greeted by our driver and swiftly wisked away to our paradise. The house is spacious and impeccably clean. The house staff Muay, Mon, and the house manager Noi are beyond 5 star! They cook the most amazing food and pamper you in every way. Every ride and outing was promptly taken care of without a moments hesitation. From water, to a cooler full of refreshments by the pool........they do not miss a thing. We are a family of 5 and parents and each child had their OWN room and bathroom. I honestly cannot imagine our time in Phuket being anywhere other than Villa Malee! It is far better than any resort! Do not hesitate , you cannot go wrong booking ANY of Brians properties! ##### Heather C. Unbelievable family vacation. The owner Brian was outstanding dealing with leading up to the stay. The staff at the villa (muay and mon) were the best! They were so respectful, professional and the best chefs in all of Thailand! The food was so good, I think we only ate out once. The villa was exactly as advertised. If you want to feel like royalty and truly settle into a once in a lifetime vacation book the villa malee or the villa Jasmine through Brian...you will not be disappointed. It's a pleasure to introduce You to one of the worlds most serviceminded people - Mr. Brian Philips - the owner at Villa Malee! After our stay at Villa Malle we really understand why he is announced to be af superhost no. 1 at Phuket! We had a fantastic stay at Villa Malee - everything were so perfect! I had the joy to drink a beer with Brian - thanks a lot Brian for at meeting You. Do not ever be reflective of renting this villa - everything was just so well. The staff (Moon and Noi) was so helpfull, and they server the most fantastic dinner! We were 4 adults and 6 kids, and we were eating breakfast and dinner 4 days, and lunch 2 days, and the total costs was around BATH 11.000,- - that's cheap :-). The villamanager "Noi Kata" was very helpful too, with everyting (massage, scooter and tailor). So Brian - we will some back - hope to meet You and Your staff again. We booked this for my step sons wedding at the Katahani beach resort in Kata and our group consisted of 8 adults and an 8 year boy. The staff were absolutely brilliant and nothing was any bother. The rooms were extremely spacious and the beds were really comfortable. Cleanliness was second to none and everything was spotless. The kitchen was amazing and we found it a real home from home. In fact we were calling it this at the end of each day. You will be hard pushed to find any better cooks in the whole of Kata or Karon than our ladies in the Villa. We ate in most nights and the food was excellent. There was always a fresh supply of bread, milk, butter, snacks each day with everything being replaced as we used it. The cool box beside the pool was also re-filled with beers and mixers daily. Our bill for the 2 weeks for all food, drinks and snacks worked out at approx £70 each which was unbelievable. We would all thoroughly recommend this Villa to anyone wishing to visit Thailand. It makes a wonderful base to explore surrounding towns, visit nearby islands etc. Take the speedboat tour of the islands especially Phi Phi, Monkey and maya and swim or snorkel in the sea. It is fantastic. On arrival at the Villa the staff are all there to greet you and Nok Noi gives you a mobile phone with her number on speed dial. She will arrange any taxis for you and anything else you may need. Taxis are around £2-£4 to Kata but you need to experience the local Tuk Tuk open air taxis. We all would definitely stay at Villa Malee should we return to Thailand. It truly is a heaven on earth. Lynn :-) ##### Lynn A. This review was submitted before 2018 and has not been verified. ### 10/10 Excellent #### paul 20 Apr 2014 #### We chose Villa Mallee to celebrate our 40th Wedding anniversary so that our daughter and partner We chose Villa Mallee to celebrate our 40th Wedding anniversary so that our daughter and partner would be able to Join us from Australia and so with Son , partner and infant we made a party of 7\. Brian was extremely helpful before our arrival in answering all questions and queries promptly and ensuring our requests were dealt with. The villa itself lived up to all of our ideals, it was spacious and each bedroom was of a very high standard. Whilst set back about 1.5 km from Kata Beach it was easy to walk and even easier to arrange taxis which were not expensive. However the biggest plus were the staff, led by Khun Noi who was assisted by Nok Noi and Eaea (not sure of the spelling) and the handyman. All of our meals were prepared by Nok Noi & Eaea and were absolutely superb without exception. Breakfast was served at our convenience and we generally prepared our own lunch but the evening meals which usually consisted of three or four courses chosen by us were just sublime! Without doubt the finest asian cuisine we had ever tasted! After each meal the staff would clear away and wash up, leaving us to relax and enjoy our stay. We had one evening meal out (The boathouse) and one lunch at ViSet. My only criticism of the villa would be the lounge area which would have been a bit cramped if there had been 8 of us but as there was only 6 plus infant it was fine! Building work on a new hotel across the road meant there was some noise but this is only temporary and did not spoil our stay in any way!
