The hotel is located in a great area with plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. Additionally, public transportation is easily accessible and affordable, making it convenient to explore other areas. The hotel itself is quite good, with friendly and accommodating staff. The room was spacious & clean, bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. I was told the entire resort was booked out during our stay, therefore picking a early breakfast time to avoid a large queue was needed. My only issue is I have a disability and struggled to reach my room each time due to the amount of stairs and very steep ramps. This made it a little noisy during the day time when relaxing by the pool. Proximity to the beach and shops, eateries etc was very handy. The terraced design of the hotel is not really suitable for disabilities / wheelchair access. Up at the higher levels you get a really nice view of Karon Lagoon and Karon Beach and spectacular sunsets. We had a top floor sea facing room with balcony. The hotel staff at breakfast were really nice and made breakfast an enjoyable time. Disappointed on our departure when we paid 800 Baht for transport to the airport and were sent a hot taxi that had been sitting in the sun with the engine off. The taxi didn't cool down sufficiently for the entire trip and was like a sauna.
