Well run small guest house and I had a clean and comfortable room with excellent facilities. Proprietors were very friendly and informative about the area. A well prepared breakfast was offered with a good choice of options. Property is wishing walking distance of the sea and town with easy parking on the road.

The guest house is super clean and is located in a quite but convenient location. Host was super nice and cater to our needs. Bed is super comfy and TV is equipped with netflix! Had a wonderful stay here and would love to come back!

A lovely friendly place to stay in Penzance
A lovely break staying at the Dunedin for a week. Lovely helpful hosts, filling breakfasts and a cosy room made the stay perfect. What’s not to like?

So glad we chose the Dunedin
The owners made our stay like a home from home. Nothing was too much trouble from booking a taxi to helping understand the vagaries of the Canadian mobile phone that resisted my efforts. Really clean, comfortable and welcoming. We stayed two weeks and felt sad upon leaving. Many thanks are due.

The Dunedin
A very nice and comfortable en-suite room and very clean. An excellent location. No cooked meals due to Covid but option to have a continental breakfast delivered to the room each morning - suitable table and chairs provided. There is also a small fridge in the room.

Lovely stay
Lovely little inn, good location and a 10minute walk into town. Room was very spacious with TV, small dining table, wardrobe, and kettle! They had good precautions due to COVID but still did a daily service to clean the rooms which was nice.

Very strange comment as our bedding and mattresses were replaced in March this year, 3 out of 10 our review of your visit.

Disappointing
Good location within 10 minutes walk into town. The room was dated but clean however, not comfortable. Mattress/bed very creaky. Could clearly hear creaky noises from the room above. Didn’t get breakfast despite paid for; on arrival we were informed that it was room only rate and there would be an extra charge if we wanted breakfast. Wish this would have been communicated to us beforehand. Asked politely for extra towels for one day but was rudely refused by the owner who clearly didn’t really care about her guests and their comfort. Overall a very disappointing place and wouldn’t recommend.

Dated, obviously you do not appreciate traditional quality. All our mattresses are new as of April 2020. You did not pay for breakfast, read our quite clear Covid T&C's. Your mention of extra towels tells me who you are, you kept the room in a disgraceful condition, you should be ashamed to treat our home as you did. Why would you ask for extra 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels? All towels are replaced daily and perhaps it was because of the make-up stains and other damage in the room. Marks for you 3 out of 10!

Great stay at the Dunedin. They are taking Covid cleaning very seriously so we felt safe the whole time we were there. Great location in a quiet part of Penzance but easily walkable to the city centre.

We liked the comfort, the cleanliness, the breakfasts and the welcome of our hosts, John and Linda who were lovely. The only minor criticism is that we could have done with more shelf space in the bathroom as being older we each have our own collection of potions, powders and pills!

Linda and Nicole provided the best accommodations and breakfast service. The Dunedin is located in a quiet part of town, but still a short walk to the shops and pubs. The room was clean and tidy. Definitely would book again.

Formidable stay in Penzance
Staying at John and Linda's was amazing! I was looking exactly a relaxing cornish atmosphere. Linda treats her guests every way she can, I adored their breakfast..... without forgetting everything is so clean. Location is excellent. I was a bit scared as i was without car but location is central and Penzance is very well connected.Last but not least Linda is gorgeous with weather forecast...better than the official websites. Thank you for making me feel home at your home.

Warm welcome, good facilities, excellent breakfast. The only downside was that our room was too warm for comfort, with no way to cool it. Even with window open on a cool day (15C), still too warm. Perhaps just this room. Still more good value than discomfort.

Very nice stay. Recommended.
Quiet location (apart from seagulls, but you really can’t be spared anywhere in Cornwall). The room wal fairly large and comfy. The bed maybe a little too soft for my taste. The bathroom is small but functional. The shower has a nice thermostatic valve so plenty of hot water and pressure. Breakfast is cooked every morning fresh to order, with plenty of eggs options! Very nice stay. Also the location is pretty close to both town centre and the promenade, and the station. The owner is very welcoming and friendly and has made us at ease prociding advice on many fhings to do in Penzance and around. Definitely recommended.

More than what you would expect
The staff all went out of their way to make my stay as pleasant as possible. The single room I was in was designed to use the space very efficiently. It was very quiet and always well cleaned. It was a delightful stay.

A gem in Penzance.
An exceptional experience, we spent 3 days in this fantastic and premium Guest house. The feeling is of being special, pampered by the luxury furniture, decor, facilities. Room was exceptionally clean and tidy with complete absence of dust (a feat that I have rarely experienced in British hotels). John and his wife (the landlords) were very welcoming offering perfect advice on neighbourhood amenities, restaurants and things to do. We would rate this 5 out of 5 without a doubt. Price wise we were surprised by the great value for money. Do yourself a favour and book this BnB for your visit to Cornwall, you won't regret it!

Lovely guest house but beware tiny single room
Nice guest house with lovely home cooked breakfast. My (single) room was clean but absolutely tiny with a slightly strange ensuite arrangements and up in the attic so only a velux window for light. Not sure what the other rooms are like but this particular one should be offered at a significant discount.

Value for Money Guest House
A more than adequate establishment. I have refrained from giving The Dunedin an excellent rating because I have never stayed in a place that exceeded all expectations in all areas. The room was clean, neat and had all one would expect and need. Breakfast was an experience in itself; first class menu, a wide range of cereals and fruit and if anyone left the room still hungry I would be amazed. My wife and I were given room no.1 which had enough hanging and drawer space along with a practical en suite. As our room was on the top floor it became a bit tiresome trudging up so many stairs, but then we are seasoned bus pass carriers.

Excellent Cornish BnB
This was a comfortable and stylish BnB with warm, engaging hosts and a delicious breakfast, filled with options. We were looking for a place to use as a base while we hiked the South West Coast Path and couldn't have chosen better. We were provided with maps, restaurant suggestions, and hiking advice. Each night we returned from a full day out looking forward to the comforts of our restful surroundings. I would gladly revisit, both Cornwall and The Dunedin.

Good B&B
Lovely stay. Nice and clean room and bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Very good breakfast! We definitely recommend this B&B and we would go back again
