"The photos do not do the house justice. On arrival the house was clean and had all of the necessary kitchen and bathroom essentials. "We checked in without any issue. There were cows in the pasture outside behind the house. In the morning, the caretaker spotted a sloth and showed us and the other neighbors! On the second morning he helped us find it again!! The house was very soothing and calming. The bedrooms each had a bathroom and an exterior entrance. The living room is separate from the bedroom spaces. It reminded me of the design of a Roman villa. We had a magnificent time and would definitely stay again!"

There's AC in the 2 bedrooms, which felt amazing because it was hit when we were there. We loved the outdoor kitchen. The only downside with this property was the living room area... Uncomfortable furniture and no AC there. Overall I'd pick this house again though"

"We were immersed into the neighborhood or the local La fortuna residences and close to the town and tour activities. We stayed with our 2 daughters, 10 and 12, while there is no AC, it cools off enough in the evening to be perfectly comfortable. There is a small market near by for basics. The yard is beautifully kept and Zuelema is very communicative when gardeners came to work. There is a river near by that we got to meet some of the locals and play in the water away from the tourist areas....

"We had so much fun here, and it was a wonderful place to come and relax after a day of activities. Very unique cabin, with porch right on the pond. Friendly ducks, dogs, and it was great hearing all of the different bird calls. Very close to restaurants and things, but felt remite and private. Comfortable bed. "Super simple room, and the pool was a little chilly. But that was my only complaint. I had a car rental so it was easy but other guests said it was a little isolating, but it is the most beautiful, quiet and affordable place. Beautiful views close to the falls!!"
