The best time to visit Paris is typically during the shoulder seasons of April-May and September-October, when the weather is pleasant, and the city is less crowded than in peak summer.

During these months, you'll find comfortable temperatures for exploring the city's many attractions on foot. The spring brings blooming flowers to the parks and gardens, while autumn offers beautiful foliage, particularly in areas like the Luxembourg Gardens or along the Seine. You can enjoy outdoor dining without the intense heat of summer or the chill of winter.

For those looking to experience Paris with fewer crowds and potentially better value on flights and accommodation, travelling in early spring or late autumn is ideal.

It's home to jazz clubs that have been operating for decades, along with elegant wine bars and classic Parisian brasseries that stay open late. The streets around Boulevard Saint-Germain are where you'll find many of these establishments.

The Latin Quarter, also in the 5th arrondissement, is popular with students and offers a lively, more laid-back atmosphere. You'll find numerous pubs, affordable bars, and some smaller clubs, particularly around Rue Mouffetard and Place de la Contrescarpe. It's a good place for a relaxed drink and a bustling street scene.

Bastille, in the 11th arrondissement, is another busy area with a high concentration of bars and clubs, especially along Rue de la Roquette and Rue de Lappe. It caters to a younger crowd and offers a mix of music styles, from electronic to pop. It's a place where you can easily bar-hop.
