Pocket Guide: Paris City Centre Pont Neuf Hotels

Travellers flock to France each year, booking hotels along its scenic Mediterranean coastline, at mountain resorts in the Alps, in the rolling vineyards of wine country, and the vibrant streets of Paris, the ‘City of Light’. Those visiting Paris for the first time are in for an eye-opening holiday, as they will discover for themselves a range of famous attractions such as the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum, and the Notre Dame Cathedral.

Those revisiting Paris can take the opportunity to discover some of the city’s less known but equally remarkable sites, including the likes of Saint-Chapelle, with its collection of 13th century stained glass, or make their way outside the city to the spectacular Palace of Versailles.

Walk Across the Historic Bridge, Le Pont Neuf

The oldest standing bridge across the Seine in Pars is the Pont Neuf, constructed between 1578 and 1607, and spanning some 232 metres. The bridge is made-up of two separate spans of five arches and one of seven arches, joining the left and right bank with Île de la Cité.
