"Small, independent hotel near Paris Station"
Hotel was fine and clean. Good value for money and short walk from the Paris Eurostar train station. Not much in the way of spare space or views from the room windows but didn't expect such for the price.

"Basic 2-star hotel in good location"
The location is excellent, in walking distance from many of the good restaurants and shops in the Opera area. The hotel itself is basic, after all it is only a 2-star, but the staff are very friendly and there is a nice atmosphere. My room was small and in need of refurbishment. The bathroom was OK but the shower was very small.

"Charming hotel in perfect location "
The hotel is literally 1 min walk from the metro station. The breakfast are good though it is cheaper to opt for eating out! All the staffs are friendly and ready to help you with directions/where to go if needed. The rooms are clean and freshly re-done every day. Make sure you ask for non smoking rooms as I think some are for smokers. For the price, it is top notch!

Lovely hotel. Room small but clean and the bed was really comfortable. Good en suite bathroom. Friendly staff. 5 minute walk to the Effiel Tower and 2 minutes from the nearest metro station. Nice restaurants nearby with lots of beautiful French buildings as well. Would definitely stay here again

Hôtel Darcet Paris

"Great little hotel: best value for money"
I went with my sister for a couple of days to Paris and it our stay in the Hotel Darcet was better that we could have ever asked for. We had a very clean and new double room (twin beds) with a brand new bathroom. It even had a hairdryer which we had asked in the lobby if we could borrow one, but the bathroom was already equipped with it. The neighbourhood were is located is perfect: there are lots of restaurants, patisseries, mini markets, etc. We decided to take one of these Big Buses (tourist buses) for a couple of days, and the walk to the stop was very close (10 min - around Galeries Lafayette, opera station). So basically we did not have to spend in travel at all for all our time there. The last day we walked to Montmartre which was a 15 min walk, had a lovely stroll and cafe there, and then walked down to Gare du Nord where we took the Eurostar back to London.

"Great hotel in amazing location"
I had a great stay at the Welcome Hotel - the location was amazing, the room was small but comfortable, exactly as described, and perfect for what I needed. The staff was extremely friendly and gave excellent recommendations. I was a little nervous when I first walked into my room and saw that it faced a busy street, but I had no problem with noise at all (and I'm a very light sleeper). As a solo traveler I felt very safe here and would highly recommend it, if I'm ever lucky enough to get the chance to go back to Paris I will definitely stay here again!

"Great location, lovely, modern room."
The Hotel Palym is steps from the LeBus Direct stop, city buses, and the Metro. The room was not large but quite comfortable for two. This is a comfortable and convenient hotel for visiting Paris. I would definitely stay there again.

Pocket Guide: 2 stars Hotels in Paris

When asked what we picture when we hear the name “Paris”, most of us would say the Eiffel Tower, the Seine, and expensive department stores. Spend a little time there, though, and you’ll find that there’s more to this beautiful city than first meets the eye. Once you’ve visited all the top tourist spots – Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Arc de Triomphe – try exploring the less touristy parts of the city.

Though Paris is known for being expensive, there’s also a side to the city that embraces a more down-to-earth style of living. A walking tour of the city’s most famous markets will yield cheap souvenirs, bargain clothing, and the tastiest of French street food. The Metro is a cheap and easy way to get around town, and stunning (free) views of the city can be had from the Sacré-Cœur in Montmartre.

Book a Room in a 2 Star Hotel in Paris

If you’re seeking bargain accommodation in Paris, try using the Expedia search tool to find an affordable two star hotel in the city.
