"The tile walls throughout the hallways were painted over and were also pealing off. The safe deposit box was just laying in the closet, anyone can walk away with it. Breakfast quality was not satisfactory and was limited. The room was tiny and had difficulty fitting two standard size bags. The room was clean, the front desk staff were very helpful and provided assistance. Inder US standards the denomination would be 3 star hotel, not 4 stars as mentioned in Hotel.com. There were many similarly rated hotels in the area with much more presence and related amenities."

"Maison Orphée was an exceptional place to stay in Paris. Centrally located in walking distance from many tourist locations, the hotel is on a quiet street with several small neighborhood restaurants and shops. I stayed in a balcony room on the 5th floor, which had a gorgeous view of the street below and a spacious, extremely clean room with one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in. The room also had an updated bathroom, mini fridge, small safe, a place to hang clothes, and a small sitting area with two cozy chairs. The breakfast had a large, high quality selection of delicious foods and drinks. The luggage hold was extremely helpful due to arriving to the city well before check-in and they even moved the bags up to the room when it was ready. The best part about the whole stay was the staff- every single person was helpful and seemed genuinely kind and caring toward their guests. Highly recommend!"
