The interior design is absolutely amazing and the ambiance set was perfect from the visuals to the sounds to the smell. It was within a good remit of tourist attractions and accessible to reach via public transport. Gorgeous friendly neighbourhood aswell
Very clean and pleasant hotel. Easy walk to Abbesses metro (small carousel nearby too), Montmartre Cemetery (where many famous artists and writers are buried), Moulin Rouge, etc. Lots of restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance, as well as night life. Experience the neighborhood's charm - local shops nearby selling wine, cheese, pastries, fruit, fashion, jewelry, etc. I ate in the neighborhood for a late lunch and a dinner at sidewalk cafes, both were pleasant. Late at night after things calm down, I might have felt concerned walking back alone in the dark in the neighborhood and some beggars were on the streets at dusk, but overall, very pleasant. Desk staff speak English and were very helpful. Did need a few euros to pay the local hotel tax. Staff helped me book the airport shuttle (which required euros as payment and would not accept credit cards) and the shuttle was cheaper than a taxi. Conveniently, 2 ATMs within the neighborhood made it easy to take out a few euros for these expenses.
"Great little hotel is lovely Paris neighborhood."
We stayed at a large, expensive hotel for two nights before we moved to the Best Western. I knew as soon as we got out of the Metro, that we were going to love the area. The hotel was very nice. We did not eat the option breakfast since there was a great pastry shop just a short block and a half away. The room was small, but very nice, clean, comfortable and just what we were looking for. The staff was very nice, I should write a terrible review since they may raise the rate after a lot of good reviews.

"Well located for Montmarte and reasonably priced"
First impressions were a bit mixed. We walked from the Gard du Nord and it only took 10-15 minutes. However the area is very ethnic in nature, very busy and bustling. The street the hotel is located in was quieter and only a short walk from the Montmarte area which is extremely pleasant. Hotel staff were very friendly and courteous from desk staff, breakfast assistant and cleaners. Hotel room had recently been renovated so was freshly decorated and bathroom modern and clean. The stairwells have yet to receive the makeover however, and the lift is quite small, two people with cases and it's full. The room had a small hanging area for clothes with two shelves.
Breakfast consisted of a croissant, roll and pastry, choice of cereals, cheese, yoghurts and juice and hot drinks. Breakfast room is a bit on the small side and difficulty finding a table at busy times.

Pocket Guide: Paris Montmartre - Sacre Coeur Hotels
One of Paris’s best-loved areas, the bohemian hilltop village of Montmartre offers winding streets, portrait artists on Place du Tertre, the wedding-cake basilica of Sacré-Coeur and extensive city views. Cafés and late-night cabarets add to the romance. The multicultural Goutte d’Or neighbourhood around Barbès-Rochechouart Métro has street markets and ethnic shops. St-Ouen flea market is a popular weekend attraction.
