Best B&B!
Highly recommend booking this place. Stayed as a family of 4 and Julia and Iain really had thought of everything. We arrived via train and so didn’t pack a lot. They had beach mats, wind breakers etc Also had a bed guard for our little one so she didn’t roll out of bed. Even the bathroom had a hair towel! Breakfast was amazing, fresh fruit and juices along with delicious porridge, cereals and cooked breakfast. All freshly cooked and great. Beds were always made ready for when we got back and they know how to treat the little ones. A service you just don’t get in hotels. The location is perfect, short walk to sea front, town center and station. If you book a stay here you will not regret it!

Fabulous stay
We had a lovely stay at Bluewaters Lodge, beautifully clean accommodation central to everything, breakfast was delicious, Iain and Julia went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They gave us great recommendations on things to do - the round robin trip which was fantastic and we eat at the harbour lights restaurant which we enjoyed. We were sad to leave!

The host's were very friendly and helpful nothing was to mutch trouble, they gave us ideas of how to get around without to much hassle and cheaply this was the perfect location we would come back again. 😁👌

Excellent stay at Blue Waters Lodge with Colin and Jackie inimitable style and hospitality. The two room suite was adequate for us as a party of 3 but these rooms were very small and on the top floor so did tend to run warmer. The bathroom didn't have a window and was very compact but we managed for the 4 days that we were there. The breakfast was fantastic and cooked to order with plenty of selection of cereals, fruit, hot items and teas, coffees, juices etc. Colin was particularly helpful in assisting with our itinerary and gave as excellent sightseeing suggestions. There is not a car park on site but this was never a problem as Colin ensured we could park at the front by moving his own vehicles to "reserve" our space. The lodge itself has an excellent location a 2 min walk to the seafront and pier. The train station is 10 mins away where the steam train to Dartmouth goes from and I'd highly recommend this. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance (5-10mins walk) and I would name Harbour Lights and La Scala as our favourites. On leaving I had a quick look at the other rooms and would not hesitate to book one of these over the 2 room suite we had purely to have the extra space and larger bathroom. All in all excellent stay and Happy Days!! :)

Three “happy days”
From parking, check in, comfort, and breakfast I cannot find fault. Colin & Jackie are wonderful hosts. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and we felt very covid safe. The B&B is situated only a couple of minutes from the beach/pier. We were sad to leave.

We stopped here for seven wonderful nights, I have never stopped in a more welcoming place. This guest house is beautifully laid out and spotlessly clean. Colin & Jackie made us feel like we had been friends for years, and played a big part in making this holiday one of the best we have ever had. Paignton is an ideal place to stay, with easy access to all the surrounding tourist attractions. We are booking up again for next year. Loved it.

A* Service and accommodation in Paignton
Attentive, caring, personal, personable and most of all great people behind the scene here at Blue Waters Lodge. Not one request was faced with other than a smile and delivery! .. B&Bs are not usually quite family friendly, but the 2 bed suite gave us adequate room for the 2 adults and 2 children but also, a bed guard, a cot, nice teddy on bed all added up to a cosy stay. Ideally located near the beach and Geo Park.. Colin and Jackie made our stay a very comfortable one

Warmest of welcomes!
Location wise, Blue Waters Lodge was perfect! A stones throw from the seafront and the pier, walking distance from the town and the great transport links, but just set back enough for peaceful evenings and a good nights sleep. The room itself was spotless and had everything we needed. The bathroom was all newly refurbished too. The breakfast was great! Lots of choice and a full English cooked to perfection - really set us up for the day!! Colin and Jackie couldn't have been better hosts! They really are what made the stay special. I would recommend Blue Waters Lodge without hesitation and hope to go back again soon.

We had a lovely stay with Jackie and Colin they made us very welcome and when we arrived made us a pot of tea with a piece of cake which was a lovely thought. The room was lovely very clean and tidy with a shower ensuite. The breakfast was very good with a great choice. We had a good nights sleep and the room was very quiet. We will definitely recommend staying here and will be back to stay ourselves when we next go to Paignton.

We will return!!
We stayed three nights. The room is lovely and very clean with a four poster bed and very nice bathroom. Plenty tea and coffee in the room, also a good selection of toileteries. Execellent breakfast and the hosts are very friendly and pleasant.

B&B Sympathique et bien placé
Deux semaines de séjour dans cet hôtel, Bed and Breakfast, pour des raisons "scolaires". Bien placé dans Paignton, à la fois central et calme. Le plus est vraiment dans l'accueil chaleureux de Colin et Jackie, les propriétaires.
