Beautiful location. Greeted by friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for us. So incredibly helpful. Room was perfect. Very comfortable. Breakfast was a Full-Cooked and was delicious. Extremely large portions. Would highly recommend this little gem. Excellent value for money.

I stayed in the annex luxury apartments which are fantastic. Amazing comfortable king size bed. Luxury bathroom and living area - like a suite set up. Two large TVs and kitchen - the sort of place you would buy.

Lovely well maintained Victorian house, don't change anything, it's really nice.

My wife and I booked 2 nights in this Bed & Breakfast establishment because we thought it looked fantastic and the reviews were excellent and we had promised ourselves a special break away from home that was something to remember. We were greeted by Ian and Hazel who showed us to our room and they freely offered us everything that we had hoped for. Place was easy enough to find with adequate parking right outside. On going in there was a friendly welcoming greating and there was nothing to check-in. After check-in we were asked if would be having an evening meal which we accepted. We had opted for a larger double room and it was clean and tidy and what you would expect from a rural country inn. After settling in to our room we went down to the bar area which was clean and had a nice country inn atmosphere with the log burner keeping...

Arrived later than expected, we were provided with sandwiches etc to save us going into town. Best bed I've slept in for a long time. Dog friendly.

Great location (10 minutes from M6)in a small English village surrounded by fields, fells and farms. The hosts are brilliant and provide great service. The fish is to die for. The bar is used by the locals who were very friendly unlike some places where they treat you as an intruder.

Food was great worth the price! Whole team were fantastic from check in to check out. Accomodated us with a bigger room on the 1st before check in as we were booked in on the ground floor in needs with easy access room. really appreciated the care and attention to detail will be staying there again!
