"Got there at 1:30pm, room not available. Understandable, website quotes 3:00 check-in. Returned at 3, room still not available. Was offered room in basement. Did not want this. Was given other room on first floor. Took this. The "Roost" room was very small. Could barely fit 2 suitcases on the floor. Hot water did not work. Told to go to another room to take a shower. Next morning we had to pack up leave luggage in hotel storage. Pay for coffee station did not work. Returned from touring and got new room. Hot water worked. On-line keys did not work. Was given key card. Asked for "do not disturb" hanger. Told there were all out and they were in process of ordering more. No TV remote in room. Had to request one. Next morning, pay for coffee station still not working. In-room coffee machine did not work."
"Our room was extremely dark! How do you pay for an upgraded king room and get zero natural light??? Weird! The location was great or what had planned or our stay, but the room was very disappointing! The staff "greeting" near the escalators on street level could be more helpful and friendly."
"The breakfast bar was pretty hard core! Omlette station, hot items, bread/toast/pastries, cereals, yogurt & fruit- this was big & plentiful. Excellent value!
Location cant be beat! Right outside Tower Bridge, bus stop to all major attractions near by, tube near by... this hotel can be very local.
The bed was gorgeous!! Curtains were heavy enough to block out light for a deep restful sleep. Cannot hear any noise from outside- best sleep I've had in months!"
