Beautiful hotel with small but perfectly formed rooms. We were upgraded to a room with a view of the castle which was tiny but lovely.
The bar area is fantastic and the Whisky Bar was our downfall (thanks to Dario who is an expert!)

I have never stayed at this hotel before and I will 100% be returning. Super clean, fantastic finish and the bed sheets were so soft! Couldn’t fault a single thing. We stayed on a Saturday night (on floor 9) and you could hear a tiny bit of noise from local streets but did not disturb our sleep one bit. All staff were super friendly too. Fab location too. Thank you so much.

Across from Augustine United Church and Nando’s, original address markers no longer open. Try Auld Jock’s Cafe for breakfast - turn right out main door. And Vittoria for dinner - left out of door. Grassmarket v near too. A bit noisy at night but the view of the Castle makes up for that.

We cannot recommend this property enough! The location, cleanliness,staff,the upstairs bar, everything was wonderful. Its steps away from the station and everything is walkable. We did not get a taxi or uber once because we were able to walk to most of the locations.
