Hilton Nottingham Experience

Posted 25-Feb-2017
Pros: Restaurant, size of room, amenities, swimming pool and staff.
Cons: Room decor and sound proofing. Put the style back into a Hilton.
Location: City centre, nice to walk through streets and there was an illuminated carousel nearby. Amazing period architecture and pretty clean streets.
We were hoping to really soak up the high class Hilton Experience at this city centre hotel, but were unfortunately somewhat disappointed. The hotel is under renovation, so you may have construction workers walking past your window, somewhat disconcerting. The carpets were tired and dirty and the room walls were paper thin and we were kept awake until the early hours, thanks to a noisy american lady who thought it was acceptable to hold a "loud" mobile phone call with her daughter in the USA, so they could catch up! Otherwise the room was reasonably comfortable and the bathroom was clean. I was pleased to use the swimming pool, which was not too busy. Breakfast was very welcoming with incredibly polite and attentive staff to cater to our every need.

Great hotel

Posted 13-Feb-2017
Great hotel and staff were so accommodating. Had to change room as our double room was Tiny and dark and only had a 3/4 size bed. The next room was superb and we didn't have to pay more! Rod the gentlemen on the desk was so kind helpful and full of useful tips ! The only thing I would say is as there is a pool it would be so helpful to supply towelling dressing gowns and flip flops save guests having to go down in their clothes .

very comfortable and Ideal for the location of the

Posted 30-Jan-2017
Pros: clean and the parking available across the street for a location in the centre of town.
Cons: I did find that there was people smoking near the entrance of the Hotel.
Location: we was only booked for 1 night but the location was ideal for eating if need and the Motorpoint Arena
Found the staff to be very polite and ready to help with any query also the Concierge provide good direction to the Motorpoint Arena.

Good location and excellent staff

Posted 13-Jan-2017
Pros: The staff and the food.
Cons: The beds were not that comfortable.
Location: In the heart of the city near shops and restaurants - great location.
I had a good stay here. The staff were very attentive to our small child and that went a long way to feeling well looked after.

The room was tiny. The carpet was strange it was like it had been made up with roll ends as it seemed to be in pieces. I got a discount as I used a credit towards my night from hotels.com but if I'd have had to ay the full price of £139 I'd have been asking for my money back.
