Satisfactory

Posted 08-Feb-2016
Hotel was clean, staff friendly. Unable to comment on facilities as they weren't used. Would have like to see bottled water in the rooms and surprised that the Hilton didn't provide this. Heating made a constant noise which sounded like an aircraft over head. There was no hot water over night.

Good Hotel - close to the shops

Posted 04-Jan-2016
Pros: clean, close to shops, friendly staff
Cons: car parking
Location: close to all major shops. Buses stopped outside. Well situated
Good Hotel in the centre of Nottingham, without the noise of the traffic. no view at all from the windows - that did not really matter. Overall a good stay. Car parking was a problem.

Location is great. hotel needs updating.

Room was like a box. Could not walk in the room unless you put the desk chair in the bathroom. Bathroom smelt like wet rags. Load music playing until late on a Sunday night. Would not recommend for the price.

Handy for centre of town

Pros: Location
Cons: More power outlets in room
The rooms were small but ok. Only two power outlets, so if you have to charge multiple devices overnight its a pain.

Perfect location for shopping in Nottingham

Posted 04-Dec-2015
Pros: Location primarily but the overall experience was extremely pleasant.
Cons: Maybe just a little more care with the cleaning.
Location: Perfect location for shops, Theatre Royal and the Castle.
We did have a little wait for a parking space in the multi storey across the road and turned out there were some spaces in the hotel car park when we got there although we were told that these are reserved for disabled parking. The Concierge was very helpful and friendly, as were the breakfast waiter and receptionist. As soon as we walked through the door of our room there was something on the floor, albeit a very small something (a small chip?) and later in the day we did find some long hairs in the sink (not ours) but over cleanliness was good. The location is perfect, shops as far as the eye can see in all directions and only the shortest of walks away. Our trip was to see a show at the Theatre Royal and that too was an easy walking distance away, no more than a few minutes. Would definitely stay again - location, location, location!

Excellent town centre location

Posted 01-Dec-2015
Large room with good facilities. Bathroom accessible through a door off of the room entrance lobby. Bath a little tired as were the tiles around it but overall in good condition. Very small bed for the size of the room. No room information such as check out times or breakfast timings, but very helpful staff all very happy to help

Really nice hotel and close to amenities

Posted 23-Nov-2015
I went with my two sisters and the deluxe family room which was very nice and clean. The staff where pleasant and very helpful. We didn't have any breakfast at the hotel but if you walk for approximately 3minutes you will come to a variety of pubs and places to eat best hotel I've stayed in Nottingham.
