Disappointed with the level of noise
The check in at the Hilton was quite pleasant. The room initially looked pleasant as it was a good size and had a large TV. However I couldn't help but notice the noise from outside, even though I was on the fifth floor. It sounded like a running motor of some kind, but wasn't related to the traffic. The bed was a large double bed, unfortunately it squeaked whenever I moved and this was rather annoying. In the early morning there was lots of banging/hammering noise and this ruined the lie in on a Saturday morning. During check out, I wasn't asked about whether my stay was pleasant and although the process was quick, it felt rushed.
The rest of the facilities in the hotel room was good, there were tea/coffee and a hair dryer (damaged but still worked and did the job) and general freeview TV. The pool facilities were great and the staff was very friendly.
